Building an end-time church
To the human eye we’re living in such uncertain times but the good news is, God has a plan. And no matter how chaotic things might look or feel in the world, that plan never falters from His promise to us.
That’s why we feel so blessed to be bringing the word of God to people all over the globe to help them keep their focus on the living truth.
Our focus is to bring God’s word and its miracle healing power to people and nations through the power of Jesus.
We fervently believe in listening to God’s plan for us and walking in obedience on a daily basis. This requires developing a deep and very real relationship with God.

Our Leadership Team
LEAD PASTORS
Ps Mark and Samantha Horvat
Mark and Samantha Horvat are pastors with a heart to see nations shaken and their city of Brisbane awakened to the love of Jesus.
With powerful testimonies of their own unique journey’s, they launched an online ministry in 2021 during covid lockdowns following God’s call to “gather people together online and keep their eye’s off the fear and on Him”. Soon after, God gave them a word that they would plant a church by the Brisbane River.
Uncertain of how or when this word would come to pass, they continued on in faith until more than two years later the Lord told them their building was ready. On the 3rd January 2024 they began searching as the Lord led them step-by-step to the building they’re now in.
Without as much as a building fund, a team, or a plan of their own, they launched River Church Brisbane International within 6 weeks of being handed the keys and on Easter Sunday 2024 the church was born!
Since then the Lord has provided all their needs including an incredible team and in Oct 2024 they officially became an affiliated church with The River at Tampa Bay Church under Revival Ministries International and Dr Rodney Howard-Browne.
ELDERS
Dr Rod and Ps Christine Westbrook
Dr Rod and Christine Westbrook are missionaries/evangelists who travel widely ministering powerfully, in conferences and churches throughout the world. Dr Rod was raised by missionary parents in villages of Papua New Guinea, and subsequently spent over 25 years ministering in the Outback amongst Australian Aboriginals.
They have a strong passion for the untouched and out of the way peoples of the world. Their missions work has encompassed Mexico, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Malawi, Nigeria, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, and Vanuatu. They are currently based in Brisbane Australia, where they continue their ministry work while bringing strong eldership and experience to River Church Brisbane International.
